Venturing Out offer a wide range of services to children from 5 years of age, adults, families, corporate staff teams, schools and other groups or individuals on a personalised basis.
Venturing Out holds an Adventure Activities Licence and has a comprehensive insurance policy.

About the owner:
Venturing Out is owned by Antony Stone, a strong believer of experiential outdoor learning.
Antony has had a lifetime of outdoor experience, from his early years hanging out of trees and building shelters, to teenage years of hill walking and mountain biking, through to recent years working in the outdoors as a professional.
Throughout his outdoor employment he has worked for various outdoor activity centres and with a variety of organisations, this has allowed him to gain a wide knowledge of practice and understanding of many group types. Between 2004 and 2006 he spent much of his time working with troubled and disruptive youths with an Edinburgh based charitable organisation.
He is currently employed by East Lothian Council Outdoor Learning Services as an associate instructor and has been since 2005. . Antony is also employed by Enjoy Leisure as a climbing coach.
Venturing Out is a registered Approved Activity Provider for The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme.
Venturing Out is a registered outdoor activity provider for The City of Edinburgh Council.
Venturing Out is contracted during the school summer holidays to run the Outdoor Learning Programme for East Lothian Councils summer activities programme. This programme offers a wide range of activities at a very affordable price.
